He who does not enquire, who does not perform the sacrifice again, who does not delight in converse — therefore today they, heirs of the revered, have been subdued by the arms, not subdued by the breast.

He who has no plural asure in questioning, nor in repeated calling nor in dialogue-- defend us today fromhim and from his encounter, defend us from his arms.

Here is your portion laid for you, ye Holy: come to these songs of ours, O ye Nasatyas. Drink among us the Soma full of sweetness, and with your powers assist the man who worships.
