क्वे॑यथ॒ क्वेद॑सि पुरु॒त्रा चि॒द्धि ते॒ मनः॑ । अल॑र्षि युध्म खजकृत्पुरंदर॒ प्र गा॑य॒त्रा अ॑गासिषुः
kveyatha kvedasi purutrā ciddhi te manaḥ alarṣi yudhma khajakṛtpuraṃdara pra gāyatrā agāsiṣuḥ
Where, or what is your mind, O hero? The famed warrior, remover of obstacles, fought and the singers invoked the Gayatri and proclaimed blessings.
Where have you gone? Where, indeed, are you now? Verily your mind (wanders) among many(worshippers); martial, valorous Purandara, come here; the chanters are singing (your praise).
Where art thou? Whither art thou gone? For many a place attracts thy mind. Haste, Warrior, Fort-destroyer, Lord of battle's din, haste, holy songs have sounded forth.
