वि त॑र्तूर्यन्ते मघवन्विप॒श्चितो॒ऽर्यो विपो॒ जना॑नाम् । उप॑ क्रमस्व पुरु॒रूप॒मा भ॑र॒ वाजं॒ नेदि॑ष्ठमू॒तये॑
vi tartūryante maghavanvipaścito'ryo vipo janānām upa kramasva pururūpamā bhara vājaṃ nediṣṭhamūtaye
The generous one goes forth, wealthy, noble among peoples. Advance, take your place, O most form-bearing; bear the prize to the desired place.
The sages (your worshippers), Maghavan, the overcomers (of foes), the terrifiers of (hostile) people,pass over various (calamities by your aid); come near and bring manysorts of food, and available for ourpreservation.
Those skilled in song, O Maghavan among these men o'ercome with might the foeman's songs. Come hither, bring us strength in many a varied form most near that it may succour us.
