avakrakṣiṇaṃ vṛṣabhaṃ yathājuraṃ gāṃ na carṣaṇīsaham vidveṣaṇaṃ saṃvananobhayaṃkaraṃ maṃhiṣṭhamubhayāvinam
Do not pluck the bull like a tree; do not carry away the pair as if with a threshing-board. Let not enmity divide the twofold praise; let the mighty of both sides be strong together.
A bull rushing (upon his foes), undecaying, like an ox, the overcomer of (hostile) men, the hater (ofadversaries), the venerable, the displayer of both (enmity and favour), the munificent, the distributor of both(celestial and terrestrial riches).
Even him, eternal, like a bull who rushes down, men's Conqueror, bounteous like a cow; Him who is cause of both, of enmity and peace, to both sides most munificent.
