Vishnu is not born nor arising; not born is the god from supreme greatness. He uplifted the lofty vault like a staff, spreading the eastern sky over the earth.
No being that is or that has been born, divine Viṣṇu, has attained the utmost limit of your magnitude bywhich you have upheld the vast and beautiful heaven, and sustained the eastern horizon of the earth.
None who is born or being born, God Visnu, hath reached the utmost limit of thy grandeur. The vast high vault of heaven hast thou supported, and fixed earth's eastern pinnacle securely.
