स हि शुचिः॑ श॒तप॑त्रः॒ स शु॒न्ध्युर्हिर॑ण्यवाशीरिषि॒रः स्व॒र्षाः । बृह॒स्पतिः॒ स स्वा॑वे॒श ऋ॒ष्वः पु॒रू सखि॑भ्य आसु॒तिं करि॑ष्ठः
sa hi śuciḥ śatapatraḥ sa śundhyurhiraṇyavāśīriṣiraḥ svarṣāḥ bṛhaspatiḥ sa svāveśa ṛṣvaḥ purū sakhibhya āsutiṃ kariṣṭhaḥ
He is pure, a hundred-leaved one; he is the fragrant, golden-clad, strong-voiced seer. Br̥haspati, he of the seers, most supportive of friends, has performed auspiciousness.
He verily is pure, borne by numerous conveyances, he is the purifier armed with golden weapons, theobject of desire, the enjoyer of heaven; he, Bṛhaspati is well domiciled, of goodly aspect, a most bountiful giverof ample food to his friend.
For he is pure, with hundred wings, refulgent, with sword of gold, impetuous, winning sunlight. Sublime Brhaspati, easy of access granteth his friends most bountiful refreshment.
