य॒ज्ञे दि॒वो नृ॒षद॑ने पृथि॒व्या नरो॒ यत्र॑ देव॒यवो॒ मद॑न्ति । इन्द्रा॑य॒ यत्र॒ सव॑नानि सु॒न्वे गम॒न्मदा॑य प्रथ॒मं वय॑श्च
yajñe divo nṛṣadane pṛthivyā naro yatra devayavo madanti indrāya yatra savanāni sunve gamanmadāya prathamaṃ vayaśca
In sacrifice where heaven speaks and earth listens, where the gods pour offerings—there Indra, who leads the seasons, goes forth first with the exhilaration of victory and the strength of our might.
At the sacrifice in the dwellings of man upon earth, where the devout leaders of (rites) rejoice, wherethe libations to Indra are poured out, there may he descend before (other gods) from heaven for his exhilaration;(may his) swift (horses approach).
WHERE Heaven and Earth combine in men's assembly, and ttose who love the Gods delight in worship, Where the libations are effused for Indra, may he come first to drink and make him stronger.
