उ॒च्छन्नु॒षसः॑ सु॒दिना॑ अरि॒प्रा उ॒रु ज्योति॑र्विविदु॒र्दीध्या॑नाः । गव्यं॑ चिदू॒र्वमु॒शिजो॒ वि व॑व्रु॒स्तेषा॒मनु॑ प्र॒दिवः॑ सस्रु॒रापः॑
ucchannuṣasaḥ sudinā ariprā uru jyotirvividurdīdhyānāḥ gavyaṃ cidūrvamuśijo vi vavrusteṣāmanu pradivaḥ sasrurāpaḥ
Raised incense on auspicious days, bright in radiance, the charioteers of light, wise in thought, pierced the wide sky; the cattle lowed and the streams flowed, the heaven poured down water.
The blameless dawns (ushering) bright days have broken, and, shining radiantly, (the Aṅgirasas) haveobtained the vast light (the sun); desirous (to recover it) they have obtained their wealth of cattle and the ancientwaters have subsequently issued for their good.
The spotless Dawns with fair bright days have broken; they found the spacious light when they were shining. Eagerly they disclosed the stall of cattle: floods streamed for them as in the days aforetime.
