अधा॒ न्व॑स्य सं॒दृशं॑ जग॒न्वान॒ग्नेरनी॑कं॒ वरु॑णस्य मंसि । स्व१॒॑र्यदश्म॑न्नधि॒पा उ॒ अन्धो॒ऽभि मा॒ वपु॑र्दृ॒शये॑ निनीयात्
adhā nvasya saṃdṛśaṃ jaganvānagneranīkaṃ varuṇasya maṃsi sva1ryadaśmannadhipā u andho'bhi mā vapurdṛśaye ninīyāt
Below, like the sight of your realm, the adversary of the fire appeared in Varuṇa’s mind. O lord of the radiant seat, do not lead away the blind body; let him not be carried off.
Hastening into his sight, may I (worthily) glorify the aggregated radiance of Varuṇa, when he is theimbiber of the exhilarating beverage (expressed) by the stones; may he render my person n of goodly aspect.
And now, as I am come before his presence, I take the face of Varuna for Agni's. So might he bring-Lord also of the darkness-the light in heaven that I may see its beauty!
