yo mṛḷayāti cakruṣe cidāgo vayaṃ syāma varuṇe anāgāḥ anu vratānyaditerṛdhanto yūyaṃ pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ
Whoever harnesses and turns us with a plough becomes ours, Varuṇa, O unbound ones. Following the vows, prosperous in the sun, may you protect us always with well‑being.
May we be free from sin against that Varuṇa, who has compassion upon him who commits offence, wewho are duly observing the rites of the son Aditi; and do you, (gods), ever cherish us with blessings.
Before this Varuna may we be sinless him who shows mercy even to the sinner- While we are keeping Aditi's ordinances. Preserve us evermore, ye Gods, with blessings.
