Indra and Varuna are worshipped by the noble Maghans; warriors fight with spear and bow. O youth, the wealth of both is the kingly chariot; may they bestow upon us heavenly safeguard.
Indra and Varuṇa, the murderous (weapons) of my enemy distressme; foes among the malignant(assail me); you two are sovereigns over both (celestial and terrestrial) wealth; protect us therefore, onthe day ofbattle.
O Indra-Varuna, the wickedness of foes and mine assailants' hatred sorely trouble me. Ye Twain are Lords of riches both of earth and heaven: so grant to us your aid on the decisive day.
