इन्द्रा॑वरुणा व॒धना॑भिरप्र॒ति भे॒दं व॒न्वन्ता॒ प्र सु॒दास॑मावतम् । ब्रह्मा॑ण्येषां शृणुतं॒ हवी॑मनि स॒त्या तृत्सू॑नामभवत्पु॒रोहि॑तिः
indrāvaruṇā vadhanābhiraprati bhedaṃ vanvantā pra sudāsamāvatam brahmāṇyeṣāṃ śaṛṇutaṃ havīmani satyā tṛtsūnāmabhavatpurohitiḥ
Indra and Varuna, with invincible forces, sundered the hostile foes; they brought together the Sudasa-assembled [people]. Hear the true praise of those brāhmanas; the priestly office became of three streams.
Indra and Varuṇa, you protected Sudāsa, overwhelming the yet unassailed Bheda with your fatalweapons; here the prayers of threse Tṛtsus in time of battle, so that my ministration may have borne them fruit.
With your resistless weapons, Indra-Varuna, ye conquered Bheda and ye gave Sudas your aid. Ye heard the prayers of these amid the cries of war: effectual was the service of the Trtsus' priest.
