anvapāṃ khānyatṛntamojasā sūryamairayataṃ divi prabhum indrāvaruṇā made asya māyino'pinvatamapitaḥ pinvataṃ dhiyaḥ
Stretching forth your might you upheld the sun as lord of the sky. Indra and Varuṇa, grant us glory; even the enchanters bowed to your powers and directed our intellects.
Indra and Varuṇa, you have forced open by your strength the barriers of the waters; you haveestablished Sūrya as the lord in heaven; in the exhilaration of the inspiring (Soma) you have replenished the dry(beds of the rivers); do you also fulfil the objects of our sacred rite.
Ye with your strength have pierced the fountains of the floods: the Sun have ye brought forward as the Lord in heaven. Cheered by this magic draught ye, Indra-Varuna, made the dry places stream, made songs of praise flow forth.
