प्रति॒ स्तोमे॑भिरु॒षसं॒ वसि॑ष्ठा गी॒र्भिर्विप्रा॑सः प्रथ॒मा अ॑बुध्रन् । वि॒व॒र्तय॑न्तीं॒ रज॑सी॒ सम॑न्ते आविष्कृण्व॒तीं भुव॑नानि॒ विश्वा॑
prati stomebhiruṣasaṃ vasiṣṭhā gīrbhirviprāsaḥ prathamā abudhran vivartayantīṃ rajasī samante āviṣkṛṇvatīṃ bhuvanāni viśvā
With hymns and noble speech the foremost seers (ṛṣis) arose; dispersing the rajas they unveiled the worlds everywhere.
The pious Vasiṣṭhas, first (of all worshippers) awaken with prayers and praises (each succeeding)dawn spreading over the like-bounded earth and heaven making all the regions manifest.
THE priests, Vasisthas, are the first awakened to welcome Usas with their songs and praises, Who makes surrounding regions part asunder,and shows apparent all existing creatures.
