कया॑ नो अग्ने॒ वि व॑सः सुवृ॒क्तिं कामु॑ स्व॒धामृ॑णवः श॒स्यमा॑नः । क॒दा भ॑वेम॒ पत॑यः सुदत्र रा॒यो व॒न्तारो॑ दु॒ष्टर॑स्य सा॒धोः
kayā no agne vi vasaḥ suvṛktiṃ kāmu svadhāmṛṇavaḥ śasyamānaḥ kadā bhavema patayaḥ sudatra rāyo vantāro duṣṭarasya sādhoḥ
By what wealth, Agni, do you grant us abundant blessings, the desired share, the life-imbuing oblation? When shall we be lords, wealthy in wide lands, prosperous in mighty contests, escaping evil counsel?
By what oblation, Agni, do you clothe our praise? What offering do you, when glorified, accept? When,giver of good, may we be the possessors and enjoyers of perfect and unmolested riches?
How dost thou decorate our hymn, O Agni? What power dost thou exert when thou art lauded? When, Bounteous God, may we be lords of riches, winners of precious wealth which none may conquer?
