स॒मा॒न ऊ॒र्वे अधि॒ संग॑तासः॒ सं जा॑नते॒ न य॑तन्ते मि॒थस्ते । ते दे॒वानां॒ न मि॑नन्ति व्र॒तान्यम॑र्धन्तो॒ वसु॑भि॒र्याद॑मानाः
samāna ūrve adhi saṃgatāsaḥ saṃ jānate na yatante mithaste te devānāṃ na minanti vratānyamardhanto vasubhiryādamānāḥ
Equally the two streams united; they know one another, they do not strive in hostility. They do not lessen the gods' vows; half-fulfilled, they are praised by the Vasus, modest and obedient.
When the common herd (of cattle had been stolen) then, associating, they concurred, nor mutuallycontended; they obstructed not the sacrifices of the gods, but, unoffending, proceeded with the light (they hadrecovered).
Meeting together in the same enclosure, they strive not, ofone mind, one with another. They never break the Gods' eternal statutes, and injure none, in rivalry with Vasus.
