अता॑रिष्म॒ तम॑सस्पा॒रम॒स्य प्रति॒ स्तोमं॑ देव॒यन्तो॒ दधा॑नाः । पु॒रु॒दंसा॑ पुरु॒तमा॑ पुरा॒जाम॑र्त्या हवते अ॒श्विना॒ गीः
atāriṣma tamasaspāramasya prati stomaṃ devayanto dadhānāḥ purudaṃsā purutamā purājāmartyā havate aśvinā gīḥ
They kindled the hymn in that space, creating praise as sacrifices to the gods. The very mighty, the foremost of men, the people of the city, the Ashvins recited the sacred song of praise.
Devoted to the gods, and hymning their praise, we have crossed to the opposite shore of this (state of)darkness; the worshipper invokes the Aśvins, the doers of many deeds, the most mighty, the first born, theimmortal.
WE have o'erpassed the limit of this darkness while, worshipping the Gods, we sang their praises. The song invoketh both Immortal Asvins far-reaching, born of old, great WonderWorkers.
