When the dawns arise, O Ashvins, you bear forth the radiance, the makers sustaining the Brahmanas. Upwards the shining Savita, the god, the mighty‑firing ones stoke the sacrificial wood.
When the dawns arise, your worshippers, Aśvins, profer you praises; the divine Savitā casts hissplendours on high; the fires, with their (kindled) fuel, greatly glorify you.
What time the Dawns break forth in light, O Asvins, to you the poets offer their devotions. God Savitar hath sent aloft his splendour, and fires sing praises with the kindled fuel.
