सिष॑क्ति॒ सा वां॑ सुम॒तिश्चनि॒ष्ठाता॑पि घ॒र्मो मनु॑षो दुरो॒णे । यो वां॑ समु॒द्रान्स॒रितः॒ पिप॒र्त्येत॑ग्वा चि॒न्न सु॒युजा॑ युजा॒नः
siṣakti sā vāṃ sumatiścaniṣṭhātāpi gharmo manuṣo duroṇe yo vāṃ samudrānsaritaḥ pipartyetagvā cinna suyujā yujānaḥ
That binding is your good counsel, steadfast heat, hard to overcome for mortals. He who has crossed the seas, who cleaves floods, who yoked the teams — the yoker binds them together.
This excellent praise, redolent of food, propitiates you; the ewer has been heated in the dwelling of theworshipper, which, reaching you, fills the ocean and the rivers (through the rain it obtains), associating you (inthe rite), like two well-matched horses in a chariot.
This most delightful eulogy awaits you in the man's house drink-offering hath been heated, Which bringeth you over the seas and rivers, yoking as'twere two well-matched shining horses.
