O Agni who goes the sacred paths and honors the gentle companionship of gods—come with subtle rivers and with the broad earth, with all the wide-moving, unerring aids.
Come, Agni, rejoicing by thine own paths, gratified by the friendship of the gods; roarind with witheringflames above the high plural ces of the earth; threatening to consume all the forests.
By paths that are thine own come hither, Agni, joyous, delighting in the Gods' alliance, Making the heights of earth roar with thy fury, burning with eager teeth the woods and forests.
