vi ye dadhuḥ śaradaṃ māsamādaharyajñamaktuṃ cādṛcam anāpyaṃ varuṇo mitro aryamā kṣatraṃ rājāna āśata
Those who offered the autumn milks, who kindled the monthly ritual and chanted in wonder — Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman cast the sovereign into dominion.
Who have established the year, and then the month and the day, the sacrifice, the night, and the holytext, they, the royal deities, Varuṇa, Mitra, Aryaman, enjoy unrivalled might.
They who have stablished year and month and then the day, night, sacrifice and holy verse, Varuna, Mitra, Aryarnan, the Kings, have won dominion which none else may gain.
