vibhrājamāna uṣasāmupasthādrebhairudetyanumadyamānaḥ eṣa me devaḥ savitā cacchanda yaḥ samānaṃ na pramināti dhāma
Shining with the dawn, rising from the mountain peaks, he advanced, mounting upward, the assured one; this is my god Savita, whose law does not abandon the settled realm.
Delighted by the praises (of his worshippers), the radiant sun rises from the lap of the dawns; thatdivine sun gratifies my desires, who limits not the lustre that is common (to all).
Refulgent from the bosom of the Mornings, he in Whom singers take delight ascendeth. This Savitar, God, is my chief joy and pleasure, who breaketh not the universal statute.
