उद्वे॑ति सु॒भगो॑ वि॒श्वच॑क्षाः॒ साधा॑रणः॒ सूर्यो॒ मानु॑षाणाम् । चक्षु॑र्मि॒त्रस्य॒ वरु॑णस्य दे॒वश्चर्मे॑व॒ यः स॒मवि॑व्य॒क्तमां॑सि
udveti subhago viśvacakṣāḥ sādhāraṇaḥ sūryo mānuṣāṇām cakṣurmitrasya varuṇasya devaścarmeva yaḥ samavivyaktamāṃsi
The radiant, auspicious one lifts up the universal eyes; the sun, common to mankind, is the eye of Mitra and Varuṇa, the god who made the visible mind manifest.
The auspicious Sūrya rises, the eye of all, the common (parent) of men; the divine eye of Mitra andVaruṇa, who breaks through the glooms as through (investing) skin.
COMMON to all mankind, auspicious Surya, he who beholdeth all, is mounting upward; The God, the eye of Varuna and Mitra, who rolled up darkness like a piece of leather.
