ime cetāro anṛtasya bhūrermitro aryamā varuṇo hi santi ima ṛtasya vāvṛdhurduroṇe śagmāsaḥ putrā aditeradabdhāḥ
If these minds are of falsehood, then Mitra, Aryaman, Varuṇa are far from it. They are the guardians of Rta; against the harsh ones, sons of Aditya were appointed at the boundary of the world.
These (deities), Mitra, Aryaman, Varuṇa, are the detecters of much untruth; these unconquered sons ofAditi, dispensers of happiness, are magnified in the hall of sacrifice.
For these, even Aryaman, Varuna and Mitra, are the chastisers of all guile and falsehood. These, Aditi's Sons, infallible and mighty, have waxen in the home of law Eternal.
