अयु॑क्त स॒प्त ह॒रितः॑ स॒धस्था॒द्या ईं॒ वह॑न्ति॒ सूर्यं॑ घृ॒ताचीः॑ । धामा॑नि मित्रावरुणा यु॒वाकुः॒ सं यो यू॒थेव॒ जनि॑मानि॒ चष्टे॑
ayukta sapta haritaḥ sadhasthādyā īṃ vahanti sūryaṃ ghṛtācīḥ dhāmāni mitrāvaruṇā yuvākuḥ saṃ yo yūtheva janimāni caṣṭe
Seven green steeds, yoked together, bearing the Sun with clarified butter, bring him to the abodes. Mitra and Varuṇa, young men, they convey the wealths and the generations they have begotten.
He has harnessed his seven bay steeds, Mitra and Varuṇa, (to come) from your commondwelling-plural ce, (the firmament); the horses that, shedding water, convey that Sūrya who, friendly to you both,(contemplates all) regions, and looks carefully upon living creatures as (a herdsman) upon the herd.
He from their home hath yoked the Seven gold Coursers who, dropping oil and fatness, carry Surya. Yours, Varuna and Mitra, he surveyeth the worlds and living creatures like a herdsman.
