द॒श॒स्यन्तो॑ नो म॒रुतो॑ मृळन्तु वरिव॒स्यन्तो॒ रोद॑सी सु॒मेके॑ । आ॒रे गो॒हा नृ॒हा व॒धो वो॑ अस्तु सु॒म्नेभि॑र॒स्मे व॑सवो नमध्वम्
daśasyanto no maruto mṛḷantu varivasyanto rodasī sumeke āre gohā nṛhā vadho vo astu sumnebhirasme vasavo namadhvam
May the Maruts, who dwell at the ten points, bestow bounty upon us; may they flow down like rain, bring abundant cows, men, and slaughter—O Maruts, be favorable to us, Vasavas, we bow to you.
May the munificent Maruts, filling the beautiful heaven and earth with their glory, make us happy; yourfatal weapon, the render of clouds, the destroyer of men, be far from us; bend down to us, Vasus, with blessings.
So may the Maruts help us and be gracious, bringing free room to lovely Earth and Heaven. Far be your bolt that slayeth men and cattle. Ye Vasus, turn yourselves to us with blessings.
