In portions the Marut will eat for you, they will keep bright splendors in your chests like golden coffer-lids. Lightning—not rain—are their delights; they take up their offerings with weapons.
Bright ornaments, Maruts, are on your shoulders, shining (necklaces) are pendant on your breasts, glittering with rain, like lightnings, you are distributing the waters with your weapons.
Your rings, O Maruts, rest upon your shoulders, and chains of gold are twined upon your bosoms. Gleaming with drops of rain, like lightning-flashes, after your wont ye whirl about your weapons.
