Waters which first poured for you, making Indra-drink, fertile with oil—these we cleanse, clarified with butter and sweet honey in the woods.
We solicit from you, Waters, today, that pure, faultless, rain- shedding, sweet essence of the earth, which devout have first consecrated as the Soma for Indra.
MAY we obtain this day from you, O Waters, that wave of pure refreshment, which the pious Made erst the special beverage of Indra, bright, stainless, rich in sweets and dropping fatness.
