May the rays that were sprung by your brilliance move around like a shield—choose for us that which travels broadly. May thousands of your remedies flow upon us; do not sting the sons in their struggles.
May your blazing (weapon), which, discharged from heaven, traverses the earth, avoid us; thine, appeaser of the wind, are a thousand medicaments; inflict not evil upon our sons and grandsons.
May thy bright arrow which, shot down by thee from heaven, flieth upon the earth, pass us uninjured by. Thou, very gracious God, bast thousand medicines: inflict no evil on our sons or progeny.
