By destruction he will exhaust what must be exhausted; by birth he reawakens sovereignty through divine thought. O Rudra, deliver us from evil deeds and be our protector.
He is known by his rule over those of terrestrial birth, by his sovereignty over those of celestial (origin);protecting our progeny, Rudra, propitiating you (by praise), come to our dwellings, and be to them a guardianagainst disease.
He through his lordship thinks on beings of the earth, on heavenly beings through his high imperial sway. Come willingly to our doors that gladly welcome thee, and heal all sickness, Rudra., in our families.
