Make our great sacrifice with offerings, invoking the priests and the slow-throated chanters. Perform the ancient rite of the gods; having opened the minds toward immortality, they idealize the sacrifice.
The (worshippers) offer you, (gods), this sacrifice, with prostrations; the ministrant priest, who is nearus repeating pious praise, excels (all others); worship well the gods; resplendent (Agni), make the venerableearth revolve.
They glorify your sacrifice with worship, yet the glad Priest near them is left unequalled. Bring the Gods hither, thou of many aspects: turn hitherward Aramati the Holy.
