अ॒स्य दे॒वस्य॑ सं॒सद्यनी॑के॒ यं मर्ता॑सः श्ये॒तं ज॑गृ॒भ्रे । नि यो गृभं॒ पौरु॑षेयीमु॒वोच॑ दु॒रोक॑म॒ग्निरा॒यवे॑ शुशोच
asya devasya saṃsadyanīke yaṃ martāsaḥ śyetaṃ jagṛbhre ni yo gṛbhaṃ pauruṣeyīmuvoca durokamagnirāyave śuśoca
This god, seated in the assembly, whom mortals beheld as yellow, the immortal Agni spoke to the people:
Whom mortals apprehend as white (shining) in the principal station of that divinity; he who assents tomanly adoration, and blazes for the good of man, and the discomfiture (of his foes).
Before his presence must we all assemble, this God's whom men have seized in his white splendour. This Agni who hath brooked that men should seize him hath shone for man with glow insufferable.
