Art thou like a dweller of rites, O seer, when wilt thou in truth awaken Indra with the word? Let darkness be dispelled; grant us the lovely realm, O mighty one, protect our cattle and grant the sacred prize.
When, Indra, will you appreciate our praise; at present you establish us (your) adorers in our dwelling;let your swift horse, (influenced) by our protracted solemnity, convey to our abode riches, male offspring, andfood.
To us thy priests a home, as 'twere, thou givest: when, Indra wilt thou recognize our praises? May thy strong Steed, through our ancestral worship, bring food and wealth with heroes to our dwelling.
