tvamindra svayaśā ṛbhukṣā vājo na sādhurastameṣyṛkvā vayaṃ nu te dāśvāṃsaḥ syāma brahma kṛṇvanto harivo vasiṣṭhāḥ
Thou, Indra, art renowned for desire of spoils; the wealth and booty are thine. We shall be thy Dāśvāns — make heroes, invoke brilliance, O Vasishṭha.
Do you, Indra, who are Ṛbhukṣin, and of especial renown, who, like food, are the fulfiller (of wants),come to the dwelling of the worshipper; lord of bay horses, may we, Vasiṣṭhas, be today the donors (of theofferings) to yo, the celebrators of your praise.
Indra, high-famed, as Vaja and Rbhuksans, thou goest working, singing to the dwelling. Lord of Bay Steeds, this day may we Vasisthas offer our prayers to thee and bring oblations.
