स प्र॑के॒त उ॒भय॑स्य प्रवि॒द्वान्स॒हस्र॑दान उ॒त वा॒ सदा॑नः । य॒मेन॑ त॒तं प॑रि॒धिं व॑यि॒ष्यन्न॑प्स॒रसः॒ परि॑ जज्ञे॒ वसि॑ष्ठः
sa praketa ubhayasya pravidvānsahasradāna uta vā sadānaḥ yamena tataṃ paridhiṃ vayiṣyannapsarasaḥ pari jajñe vasiṣṭhaḥ
He made both signs manifest, the wise in thousands, offering gifts and ever constant. By whom that boundary is set, the Apsarases knew around; Vasishtha discerned it.
He, the sage, cognizant of both worlds, was the donor of thousands; he was verily donation; wearingthe vesture spread spread by Yama, Vasiṣṭha was born of the Apsaras.
He thinker, knower both of earth and heaven, endowed with many a gift, bestowing thousands, Destined to wear the vesture spun by Yama, sprang from the Apsaras to life, Vasistha.
