शिक्षे॑य॒मिन्म॑हय॒ते दि॒वेदि॑वे रा॒य आ कु॑हचि॒द्विदे॑ । न॒हि त्वद॒न्यन्म॑घवन्न॒ आप्यं॒ वस्यो॒ अस्ति॑ पि॒ता च॒न
śikṣeyaminmahayate divedive rāya ā kuhacidvide nahi tvadanyanmaghavanna āpyaṃ vasyo asti pitā cana
Let him be taught, great one, each day and every day the prince might be called wise. Not another generous giver has power like you; our father has treasure and domain.
May I daily distribute wealth to the venerable wherever abiding; no other, Maghavan, than you is to besought by us; (no other is to us) a most excellent protector.
Each day would I enrich the man who sang my praise, in whatsoever place he were. No kinship is there better, Maghavan, than thine: a father even is no more.
