What sacrificial making is yours with hymns? When will we sing your praises fully, O generous one? All minds are intent upon you; hear us, Indra, in this offering.
What satisfaction is there to you from our hymns? When, Maghavan, may we indeed present to you(oblations)? I expatiate in all praises addressed to you; hear, Indra, these my invocations.
What satisfaction do our hymns afford thee? When, Maghavan? Now let us do thee service. Hymns, only hymns, with love for thee, I weave thee: then hear, O Indra, these mine invocations.
