O heroes of ritual, sing forth the Brahmanic might, call hither, O Maruts, with your hymns. In this assembly rouse us upon the sacred; hear these Brahmanic prayers for our sake.

Magnified hero, Indra, approving of the sacred rite, come to us speedily with your steeds; be exhilaratedat this sacrifice; hear these our prayers.

Come to us quickly with thy Bay Steeds, Hero, come to our prayer, accepting our devotion. Enjoy thyself aright at this libation, and listen thou unto the prayers we offer.
