इन्द्रो॒ राजा॒ जग॑तश्चर्षणी॒नामधि॒ क्षमि॒ विषु॑रूपं॒ यदस्ति॑ । ततो॑ ददाति दा॒शुषे॒ वसू॑नि॒ चोद॒द्राध॒ उप॑स्तुतश्चिद॒र्वाक्
indro rājā jagataścarṣaṇīnāmadhi kṣami viṣurūpaṃ yadasti tato dadāti dāśuṣe vasūni codadrādha upastutaścidarvāk
Indra, king and mover of the world, is able to assume diverse forms. From him come treasures given, and he bestows wealth; his praised words uplift and rouse the singers.
Indra is lord of the earth and of men; (his is) the various wealth that exists upon the earth; thence hegives riches to the donor (of oblations); may he, glorified by us, bestow upon us wealth.
King of the living world, of men, is Indra, of all in varied form that earth containeth. Thence to the worshipper he giveth riches: may he enrich us also when we laud him.
