ए॒वेदिन्द्रं॒ वृष॑णं॒ वज्र॑बाहुं॒ वसि॑ष्ठासो अ॒भ्य॑र्चन्त्य॒र्कैः । स नः॑ स्तु॒तो वी॒रव॑द्धातु॒ गोम॑द्यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः
evedindraṃ vṛṣaṇaṃ vajrabāhuṃ vasiṣṭhāso abhyarcantyarkaiḥ sa naḥ stuto vīravaddhātu gomadyūyaṃ pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ
Thus they worship Indra with bulls, thunder-armed, Vasiṣṭhas offering oblations. May he be praised for us, O heroic one; protect us, O givers of milk, may you be ever auspicious.
In this manner the Vasiṣṭhas glorify with hymns Indra, the showerer, the bearer of the thunderbolt; mayhe so glorified grant us wealth, comprising male posterity and cattle; and do you ever cherish us with blessingṣ
Thus the Vasisthas glorify with praises Indra, the Powerful whose arm wields thunder. Praised, may he guard our wealth in kine and heroes. Ye Gods, preserve us evermore with blessings.
