की॒रिश्चि॒द्धि त्वामव॑से जु॒हावेशा॑नमिन्द्र॒ सौभ॑गस्य॒ भूरेः॑ । अवो॑ बभूथ शतमूते अ॒स्मे अ॑भिक्ष॒त्तुस्त्वाव॑तो वरू॒ता
kīriściddhi tvāmavase juhāveśānamindra saubhagasya bhūreḥ avo babhūtha śatamūte asme abhikṣattustvāvato varūtā
I sing your famed prosperity; you were placed in hundreds of tunes for us. May abundant wealth come to you; may many and many-fold gifts be granted from you.
The worshipper has invoked you the sovereign Indra, for protection; protector of many, you have beento us the guardian of great fortune; be our defender against every overpowering (assailant).
The humble hath invoked thee for protection, thee, Lord of great felicity, O Indra. Thou with a hundred aids hast been our Helper: one who brings gifts like thee hath his defender.
