यु॒ध्मो अ॑न॒र्वा ख॑ज॒कृत्स॒मद्वा॒ शूरः॑ सत्रा॒षाड्ज॒नुषे॒मषा॑ळ्हः । व्या॑स॒ इन्द्रः॒ पृत॑नाः॒ स्वोजा॒ अधा॒ विश्वं॑ शत्रू॒यन्तं॑ जघान
yudhmo anarvā khajakṛtsamadvā śūraḥ satrāṣāḍjanuṣemaṣāḷhaḥ vyāsa indraḥ pṛtanāḥ svojā adhā viśvaṃ śatrūyantaṃ jaghāna
He of unbroken might fought, the heroic, with sharp spear and battle-club; Indra drove forth foes and crushed the opposing hosts that threatened the world.
A warrior who turns not back in battle, a combatant, one engaged in tumults, a hero, victorious over(his) foes from birth, invincible, of great vigour, this Indra scatters (hostile) hosts and slays all (his) adversaries.
Soldier unchecked, war-rousing, battling Hero, unconquered from of old, victorious ever, Indra the very strong hath scattered armies; yea, he hath slain each foe who fought against him.
