त्वं नृभि॑र्नृमणो दे॒ववी॑तौ॒ भूरी॑णि वृ॒त्रा ह॑र्यश्व हंसि । त्वं नि दस्युं॒ चुमु॑रिं॒ धुनिं॒ चास्वा॑पयो द॒भीत॑ये सु॒हन्तु॑
tvaṃ nṛbhirnṛmaṇo devavītau bhūrīṇi vṛtrā haryaśva haṃsi tvaṃ ni dasyuṃ cumuriṃ dhuniṃ cāsvāpayo dabhītaye suhantu
You among men, in the space of men and gods, with many (deeds) didst seize Vritra, swift as a steed. You, protect us from robbers, thieves and deadly snares, bring safety for the fearful.
You, the lord of horses, who are honoured by men, have destroyed, along with the Maruts, numerousenemies at the sacrifice of the gods; you have put to sleep with the thunderbolt the Dasyus, Chumuri, and Dhuni,on behalf of Dabhīti.
At the Gods' banquet, hero-souled! with Heroes, Lord of Bay Steeds, thou slewest many foemen. Thou sentest in swift death to sleep the Dasyu, both Cumuri and Dhuni, for Dabhiti.
