ā pakthāso bhalānaso bhanantālināso viṣāṇinaḥ śivāsaḥ ā yo'nayatsadhamā āryasya gavyā tṛtsubhyo ajaganyudhā nṝn
Good waters and strong-voiced rivers, poisonous and beneficent—these, sending prosperity, the Aryan gathered; he yoked the cattle and drove men to battle.
Those who dress the oblation, those who pronounce auspicious words, those who abstain frompenance, those who bear horns (in their hands), those who bestow happiness (on the world by sacrifice), glorifythat Indra, who recovered the cattle of the Arya from the plural nderers, who slew the enemies in battle.
Together came the Pakthas, the Bhalanas, the Alinas, the Sivas, the Visanins. Yet to the Trtsus came the Arya's Comrade, through love of spoil and heroes' war, to lead them.
