यस्य॒ श्रवो॒ रोद॑सी अ॒न्तरु॒र्वी शी॒र्ष्णेशी॑र्ष्णे विब॒भाजा॑ विभ॒क्ता । स॒प्तेदिन्द्रं॒ न स्र॒वतो॑ गृणन्ति॒ नि यु॑ध्याम॒धिम॑शिशाद॒भीके॑
yasya śravo rodasī antarurvī śīrṣṇeśīrṣṇe vibabhājā vibhaktā saptedindraṃ na sravato gṛṇanti ni yudhyāmadhimaśiśādabhīke
Whose fame is the tearful one, whose inner stream divides the head of heads; they do not call that Indra sevenfold who fights not, who does not fear to press forward.
The seven worlds praise (Sudāsa) as if he were Indra; him whose fame (spreads) through thespacious heaven and earth; who, munificent, has distributed (wealth) on every eminent person n, and (for him) theflowing (rivers) have destroyed Yudhyamadhi in war.
Him whose fame spreads between wide earth and heaven, who, as dispenser, gives each chief his portion, Seven flowing Rivers glorify like Indra. He slew Yudhyamadhi in close encounter.
