dve napturdevavataḥ śate gordvā rathā vadhūmantā sudāsaḥ arhannagne paijavanasya dānaṃ hoteva sadma paryemi rebhan
Two princes, hundred-gifted from the divine host, yoked the oxen and prepared the chariots; Sudāsa fitted the ritual donation for Agni; I have carried the offering to the priest’s place.
Praising the liberality of Sudāsa, the grandson of Devavat, the son of Paijavana, the donor of twohundred cows, and of two chariots with two wives, I, worthy (of the gift), circumambulate you, Agni, like theministrant priest in the chamber (of sacrifice).
Priest-like, with praise, I move around the altar, earning Paijavana's reward, O Agni, Two hundred cows from Devavan's descendant, two chariots from Sudas with mares to draw them.
