The hostile ones, ever opposing, sought to pierce breaches; the man who praises him makes Indra thrust the sharp bolt into that chasm.
Your numerous enemies, Indra, have been reduced to subjection, effect at some time or other thesubjugation of the turbulent Bheda, who holds men praising you as guilty of wickedness; hurl, Indra, your sharpthuderbolt against him.
To thee have all thine enemies submitted: e'en the fierce Bheda hast thou made thy subject. Cast down thy sharpened thunderbolt, O Indra, on him who harms the men who sing thy praises.
