Indra and Soma set the course for heaven amid fires and for youth with hard stones. By sacrifices for the slain and for the aged, let them make the lifeless ones stand firm and attain the imperishable.
Indra and Soma, scatter around (your weapons) from the sky, pierce their sides with fiery searchingadamantine (weapons), so that they depart without a sound.
Indra and Soma, cast ye downward out of heaven your deadly darts of stone burning with fiery flame, Eternal, scorching darts; plunge the voracious ones within the depth, and let them sink without a sound.
