इन्द्रा॑सोमा दु॒ष्कृतो॑ व॒व्रे अ॒न्तर॑नारम्भ॒णे तम॑सि॒ प्र वि॑ध्यतम् । यथा॒ नातः॒ पुन॒रेक॑श्च॒नोदय॒त्तद्वा॑मस्तु॒ सह॑से मन्यु॒मच्छवः॑
indrāsomā duṣkṛto vavre antaranārambhaṇe tamasi pra vidhyatam yathā nātaḥ punarekaścanodayattadvāmastu sahase manyumacchavaḥ
Indra and Soma, having done evil, burst forth at the start of the inner undertaking, and entered into darkness. As one who is not born again rises once, so, O man, let the battling hosts check the might of the enemy.
Indra and Soma, chastise the malignant (rākṣasas), having plural nged them in surrounding andinextricable darkness, so that not one of them may again issue from it; so may your wrathful might be triumphantover them.
Indra and Soma, plunge the wicked in the depth, yea, cast them into darkness that hath no support, So that not one of them may ever thence return: so may your wrathful might prevail and conquer them.
