उलू॑कयातुं शुशु॒लूक॑यातुं ज॒हि श्वया॑तुमु॒त कोक॑यातुम् । सु॒प॒र्णया॑तुमु॒त गृध्र॑यातुं दृ॒षदे॑व॒ प्र मृ॑ण॒ रक्ष॑ इन्द्र
ulūkayātuṃ śuśulūkayātuṃ jahi śvayātumuta kokayātum suparṇayātumuta gṛdhrayātuṃ dṛṣadeva pra mṛṇa rakṣa indra
Let the owl come, let the beetle come, slay the serpent, let the crow come. Let the Garuda come, let the vulture come, O Indra, behold and crush the obstructing enemy.
Destroy the evil spirit, whether in the form of an owl, or of an owlet, of a dog, or of a duck, of a hawk orof a vulture; slay the rākṣasas, Indra, (with the thunderbolt) as with a stone.
Destroy the fiend shaped like an owl or owlet, destroy him in the form of dog or cuckoo. Destroy him shaped as eagle or as vulture as with a stone, O Indra, crush the demon.
